Otaku International

Otaku is a japanese term to refer to people with an obsession in their hobbies and interests and at the present its particularly used for people who love anime and manga. As far as images go, generally anyone seen as having an obsession in a particular topic would be regarded as weird or unnatural. Therefore it isn’t far fetched to say that the same concept applies to those seen as Otaku; actually if anything sometimes this abhorring image is particularly strong when used to describe someone who is considered to be an Otaku.

Cosplaying is currently a major hobby not only for the Japanese enthusiasts but also for hobbiest from all around the world. For those who do not know what cosplay is, cosplay is when someone dresses up like a character from an anime, game, or etc .

Wikipedia itself describes cosplay as:

Cosplay (コスプレ), short for “costume play”, is a Japanese subculture centered on dressing as characters from manga, anime, tokusatsu, and video games, and, less commonly, Japanese live action television shows, fantasy movies, Japanese pop music bands, Visual Kei, fantasy music stories (such as stories by the band Sound Horizon), and novels. However, in some circles, “cosplay” has been expanded to mean simply wearing a costume.

For some inexplicable reason the Forum registration and admin controls are out of whack. It will take me a few hours to see if I can correct it, to those who have emailed me about registration problems. Please rest assured the issue will be fixed soon and when it is I will post it up on the blog. Also the webhost provider I am using has been acting up a little giving slow speeds at certain times, I have sent a customer support ticket to them about it and hopefully this issue will be resolved soon.

The Forum Issues have been resolved, I had to completely redo the forums, sadly I never backed them up so No information was saved. I have reuploaded the previous Animes and New ones, However people will need to Re-Register. Sorry for the problems. Also despite the forum issues being fixed, the Network problems with the webhost has yet to be resolved so there will still be some slow speeds but hopefully this will be resolved soon.

I have just added a Manga Gallery onto my site which you will notice on the upper toolbar. Right Now I am just uploading the Manga series Vampire Knight which I will have complete and up to date in a day or two, More manga to be added later on.

Ok I have already started to post some links of some anime onto the forums so you can go download. I am also uploading some anime onto servers for you to download in the future. Feel free to go check and feel free to post some links to share with others.
And again, THE MISSION has BEGUN!!

Hello, Otaku International is a newly started website dedicated on the cooperation of individuals in order to better benefit the community. As the site progresses, I intend to talk about various topics that would appeal to us Otakus as well as put up streaming/download links for various mangas and anime in the forums. Hopefully this will encourage others to do the same which will benefit the community as a whole.
