I was browsing around the net and found two very funny edits of Code Geass. These are much watches, TRUST ME, they are hilarious and will probably brighten up your day. Oh yeah….You’ll probably lose some respect for Lelouch though……

There were some interesting Bento boxed lunches I found while surfing the net, these were just too cool not to show off. For those who do not know what a Bento is:

Bentō (弁当 or べんとう, Bentō?) is a single-portion takeout or home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine. A traditional bento consists of rice, fish or meat, and one or more pickled or cooked vegetables as a side dish. Containers range from disposable mass produced to hand crafted lacquer ware. Although bento are easily available in many places throughout Japan, including convenience stores, bento shops (弁当屋, bentō-ya?), train stations, and department stores, it is still common for Japanese homemakers to spend considerable time and energy producing an appealing boxed lunch.

For those of you who has read the Manga series “Salaryman Kintaro” or has watched the anime series that was based off the manga. Good news for those who have, there is a new Tv drama series to be based off of it accord to Anime News Network.

The combined 36/37th issue of Shueisha Weekly Young Jump magazine has announced on Thursday that Hiroshi Motomiya Salaryman Kintaro workplace manga classic will be adapted as a new television drama series this October. Newcomer Masaru Nagai will play the title role of Kintaro Yajima, a retired biker gang leader whose wife passed away during childbirth. Kintaro vows to become a corporate cog to ensure his baby boy’s well-being, but discovers his abrasive, uncompromising ways work surprisingly well in the straitlaced Japanese workplace.

I have never seen the Anime nor have I read the Manga, but I figured tihs would be an interesting piece of news for those who have.

Though this is not considered an Otaku-like news. I nonetheless found this interesting and decided to share this with all of you. This contains some interesting facts that has changed how I previously perceived the Japanese culture. I have always figured most Japanese individuals preferred to marry within the race. So I find it surprising that 1 out of 30 Japanese babies has a non-Japanese parent. However, statistics are statistics and there is no denying the truth.
