Shinto Blessing is the new Antivirus for Otaku PCs
BZou | September 9, 2008
Is Norton or McAffee antivirus not good enough for you? Does your computer still seem to get screwed up with or without antivirus software? Maybe just maybe you need a blessing from some shinto priests to solve all your PC problems. It may be a problem for those who are not living in Japan (near Akihabara) to get this done but if you do live in the Tokyo region, your problems are solved.
Kanda-Myojin shrine in Tokyo, a short walk from Akihabara, where the blessings of a Shinto priest bestow divine protection against malware, hard drive failures and the dreaded Blue Screen of Death (or whatever is the Mac equivalent). On the outside, it may look like any other Shinto shrine in Japan, however upon entering, you will most likely find Otaku with technology in hand receiving blessings from the priest.

Among the traditional charms often found at a Shinto shrine, they offer a very unique one adorned with what looks like circuit boards and chips. You can even find one to bless your blog. I guess there is no such thing as too much protection!
This may all sound weird to you but from what little I know of shinto beliefs. There is literally a deity for almost everything, there is one for every mountain and one for every river. They may not all have names but they are deities nonetheless, therefore it isn’t illogical to assume that there is a deity for every PC out there. Although I did read that some shinto organization claims there is no Deity for the internet…sadly…
Well if you are having some PC problems and happen to be in the Tokyo region, you might want to give these blessings a try. I mean if so much people in Japan goes and does it, that just means it has to work.

Yeah I use kaspersky. Norton and Mcaffee I never liked to begin with. But now I just have to find a local shinto shrine (I doubt there is any here in New York).
